Michael loved life and lived it to the fullest. He did more in his short 27 years than most do in a full lifetime. He will be missed terribly by all those whose lives he touched.

I can't believe that it was two years ago today that I lost my friend. I can't believe it's been more than two years ago that I heard your laugh, shared a beer, got into trouble... I can't even remember the last time we spoke on the phone. I can't believe where the time has gone, but I can believe that I miss you now more than ever.
I wanted to tell you that I am engaged and happier than I ever have been in my whole life because it doesn't seem real unless I can share it with you. But I do take comfort in knowing that you DO know, some way, some how.
One of my most favorite things is when I find a funny card or note from you in a drawer that I forgot about it. It makes me remember how much you cared and how special our friendship was. I love when the unexpected memory comes into my head and makes me chuckle out loud (yes, people think I'm crazy.) I love telling stories that start out with "This one time, my friend Burke..."
I miss you so much.
Love,
Tina
