Michael loved life and lived it to the fullest. He did more in his short 27 years than most do in a full lifetime. He will be missed terribly by all those whose lives he touched.

Memories of Michael

From: Julia Furay (August 2005)

A few months ago I was working on my writing skills and putting together vignettes as practice - one of them featured Michael and I remembered about it this morning. I thought you might like to have it - I may actually have more of his quotes and stories already written up, as I do things like that a lot for practice. I'll forward them on if I find anything in my notebooks or computers.

All this happened the morning after our "Cinco de Marco" celebrations in Hoboken in March...

...

So Grope - ok, John - walked into the bedroom on Sunday morning. Nina, Michael, Leigh and I were all sprawled on her bed; I had just told them about John's drunken antics the night before.

"Do you know what I think I did last night?" John said.

"Groped Julia?" Nina asked helpfully.

"No... " John mumbled.

"Threw up all over the kitchen floor?" Michael suggested.

"No, that's not it either... " John said, and wandered back out of the room with a puzzled expression on his face.

After a beat, Michael spoke up again.

"Wait a second. I want to know what was going to come next. Exactly what does Boudreaux think he did beyond groping Julia and puking all over the kitchen?"
